What is the GHASKA Innovative Conference?

The GHASKA Innovative Conference is an academic and professional conference organized by the Ghanaian Students in Korea and Associates, GHASKA. It brings together students, researchers, professionals, innovators, and community leaders to share knowledge, present research, and promote collaboration across disciplines.

What is the theme of the conference?

The theme for 2026 Conference is “Driving Innovation Through Collaborative Research.”

Why is GHASKA organizing this conference?

The conference is designed to create a platform for knowledge sharing, academic networking, research presentation, and collaboration among students, researchers, professionals, alumni, and partner institutions.

Why should I attend the conference?

You should attend to learn from different research works, connect with students and professionals, discover innovative ideas, build networks, and contribute to meaningful academic and professional collaboration.

When will the conference take place?

The conference will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

What time will the conference start?

The conference is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM KST

Where will the conference be held?

The conference will be held in Hanbat National University, Global Students Success Centre, (Hanbat University International Exchange Center ), Room 502

Who can attend the conference?

The conference is open to students, researchers, professionals, industry representatives, alumni, community members, and anyone interested in academic research, innovation, and collaboration.

Do I need to be a Ghanaian student to attend?

No. Although the conference is organized by GHASKA, participation is open to the International Global Community

Can undergraduate students participate?

Yes. Undergraduate students are welcome to attend and may also present research if their work meets the conference requirements.

Can graduate students participate?

Yes. Graduate students are strongly encouraged to participate, present their research, and connect with other researchers and professionals.

Can professionals, alumni, and industry representatives attend?

Yes. Professionals, alumni, and industry representatives are welcome to attend, share experiences, and engage with students and researchers.

Is registration required?

Yes. All participants are required to register before attending the conference. This will help the organizers plan effectively for seating, materials, meals, certificates, and other conference arrangements.

How can I register for the conference?

You can register through the official conference website by completing the online registration form provided.

Can I register on the day of the conference?

Participants are encouraged to register before the conference date. On-site registration, if available, will be communicated by the organizing committee.

Can I present my research at the conference?

What kind of research topics are accepted?

The conference welcomes research from different academic fields, especially works that promote innovation, interdisciplinary thinking, practical solutions, and collaborative research.

Will there be Oral and Poster presentations?

Yes. The conference may include oral presentations, poster presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions. Final presentation formats will be communicated to selected participants.

How will I know if my abstract has been accepted?

Successful applicants will be contacted through the email address provided during submission or registration.

Can I attend without presenting?

Yes. Participants who do not wish to present are welcome to attend, listen to presentations, network, and participate in conference activities.

Will certificates be issued?

Yes. Certificates may be issued to presenters, participants, volunteers, and invited speakers, depending on their role in the conference.

Will conference materials be provided?

Conference materials will be provided to registered participants ONLY. 

Can organizations or individuals sponsor the conference?

Yes. GHASKA welcomes partnerships and sponsorships from institutions, companies, organizations, and individuals who wish to support academic development, research, and innovation.
